Michael Smith Spinella Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael Smith Spinella, age 58, of Laurel, passed away on November 13, 2021 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford, Delaware. Born in Miami Beach, Florida, he is the son of Charles Smith, Sr. of Laurel, and the late Jessica Spinella Smith. Michael was a talented self-employed electrician and handyman, owning and operating Smith Spinella Electric. He loved "Superman", volunteering at our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, drawing, and creating beautiful artwork. Michael is survived by his son, Christopher Michael Smith Spinella; daughter, Fawn Fletcher and her husband Steven Cole; siblings, Teresa Hoffman and her husband Steve, David Christopher Smith and his wife Diane, Lynne Powell and her husband Ted, Stewart Smith and his wife Stephanie, John Smith and his wife Angela, Charles Smith, Jr. and his wife Jessica, and Joseph Smith and his wife Candy. Several nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Hudson. A viewing will be held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 6-7:30pm. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, 528 E. Stein Hwy, Seaford, DE. 19973 on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel, Delaware. Contributions may be made in Michael Smith Spinella's memory to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 528 E. Stein Hwy, Seaford, DE 19973. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home in Laurel, Delaware.
