Brandon Bo Kennedy Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Brandon “Bo” Wade Kennedy, age 33, of Delmar, passed away suddenly on December 29, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland. Born in Seaford, he is the son of Johnny “Wade” Smart of Delmar, and his late mother Celestine R. “Tina” Smart. Bo was a graduate of Delmar Jr. Sr. High School. He enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, attending Renovation Church in Delmar, and hanging out with many of his good friends. His family and numerous friends will remember him for his witty sense of humor. Bo is survived by his father Johnny “Wade” Smart of Delmar; his paternal grandmother, Jacqueline June Smart of Laurel; paternal grandfather, William Smart and his wife Diane of Seaford; his furry brother “PePe”, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. In addition to his mother, Bo is preceded in death by his brother, Brian Michael Kennedy; maternal grandparents, Phillip “Sonny” Gaines and Barbara Jean Gaines, and maternal grandparents, Charles Kennedy and Rheba Kennedy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 12:00 pm at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street, Laurel, DE 19956. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11:00 am-12:00 pm. Pastor Marilyn Searcey will officiate. Interment will be held privately.
